Lipox is used for the treatment of epileptic seizures. It reduces anxiety and mood disorder. Pharmacological activity of lipox occurs primarily through its 10-monohydrxy metabolite (MHD). MHD blocks voltage-sensitive sodium channels, which inhibits repetitive firing, stabilises hyperexcited neuronal membranes and decreases release of synaptic impulses.

Daylip seems to dilate the blood vessels within the inner ear which can relieve pressure from excess fluid and act on the smooth muscle. It improves the flow of blood in your inner ear. It can also be used to control acute episodes of mania and acute stress reaction. It is a weak blocker of sodium ion channels. It is also a weak inhibitor of enzymes that deactivate GABA such as GABA transaminase. valproic acid exerts its effect by increasing the concentration of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA is a neurotransmitter, a chemical that nerves use to communicate with one another.

VALPROLIP-CR 250/500

 

It is used for controlling certain types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is an anticonvulsant. It works by reducing or preventing the number of seizures by controlling the abnormal activity of nerve impulses in the brain and central nervous system.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

• Acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder, with or without psychotic features.

• Monotherapy and adjunctive therapy of complex partial seizures and simple and complex absence seizures; adjunctive therapy in patients with multiple seizure types that include absence seizures

• Prophylaxis of migraine headaches.

 

RETLIP

 

It is a neuropsychiatric drug. It inhibits dopamine-mediated effects by blocking postsynaptic dopamine receptors in the CNS. Melitracen is a TCA with anxiolytic properties. At low doses, it has activating properties. It is also a bipolar thymoleptic.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

• in the treatment of anxiety, depression and apathy.

• Maintenance in psychogenic depressions and other psychoses.

 

DORLIP

 

It is a drug that is used for treating depression and generalized anxiety disorder. it belongs to a class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It works by preventing neurotransmitters in the brain, the chemical messengers that nerves use to communicate with one another.

 

DORLIP PLUS

 

It is a combination of escitalopram and clonazepam. it is an anti-anxiety medication. Escitalopram prevents the reuptake of serotonin, an action which results in more serotonin in the brain to attach to the receptors. clonazepam works by enhancing the effects of gama-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain.

 

Indications

 

Certain types of seizures, petit mal seizures.

Co morbid depression

Anxiety disorder.
