It is an antifungal drug. It interferes with fungal ergosterol biosynthesis by inhibiting squalene epoxidase in the fungal cell membrane. This leads to a deficiency of ergosterol and an intracellular accumulation of squalene, thus disrupting fungal membrane function and cell wall synthesis and resulting in fungal cell wall death.

Epidermophyton spp.
Tryhophyton spp.
Onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes
Pityrosporum orbicura (pityriasis versicolor)
Microsporum spp.

 

SCABLIP LOTION

Simplifies eradication of scabies

 

Scablip lotion is a pediculocide. It works by killing lice and their eggs. It is active against a broad range of pests including lice, ticks, fleas, mites and other arthropods. It acts on nerve cell membrane to disrupt the sodium channel current by which the polarization of the membrane is regulated. Delayed repolarization and paralysis of the pests are the consequences of this disturbance, ultimately get killed.

 

SCABLIP SOAP

 

It has actions and uses typical of cationic surfactants which dissociates in aqueous soln into a smaller inactive anion and into a large and complex cation responsible for the surface activity. It has bactericidal activity against gram-positive bacteria.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

It is indicated for the treatment of infestation with Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies).

 

ZONLIP

 

It is an antifungal drug. It prevents growth of several types of fungi by preventing the fungi from producing the membranes that surround the fungal cells. It is used for the treatment of fungal infections in both HIV- and non-HIV-infected individuals. It is active against fungal infections such as aspergillosis, blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, and candidiasis, as well as fungal infection localized to the toenails and fingernails.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

Itraconazole is primarily indicated in conditions like Advanced breast or prostate cancer, Antifungal prophylaxis, Candidiasis, Cryptcoccal meningitis, Dermatophytic infections, Histoplasmosis, Oculomycoses, Onychomycoses, Oropharangeal candidiasis, Orophyrangeal candidiasis, Pityriasis versicolor, Superficial candidiasis, Systemic mycoses, Tinea pedis, Tinae manuum

 

ISOLIP

 

Acne is caused by inflammation of the skin. Severe acne causes permanent scarring of the skin. The inflammation is caused in part by an increased secretion of sebum (oily substance) from glands in the skin (sebaceous glands). The sebum provokes inflammation, and the inflammation resolves (heals) with the formation of a scar (keratinization). It may reduce acne by reducing the secretion of sebum. If less sebum is secreted it is likely that there will be less inflammation and keratinization.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

Isotretinoin's main indication is for the treatment of severe cystic acne vulgaris. It is also somewhat effective for hidradenitis suppurativa and some cases of severe acne rosacea. It can also be used to help treat harlequin ichthyosis, lamellar ichthyosis and is used in xeroderma pigmentosum cases to relieve keratoses. Isotretinoin has been used to treat the extremely rare condition fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.

 

CLOBLIP-S

 

It reduces itching, redness, and swelling associated with many skin conditions. It is a topical corticosteroid. It works by decreasing certain immune responses, which reduces redness and itching of skin. It is a topical salicylate. It works by causing the skin to swell, soften, and then slough or peel in areas where it is applied.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

It is a combination of corticosteroid Clobetasol and keratolytic Salicylic acid.
