It is an anti convulsant drug used for neuropathic pain and as an adjunct therapy for partial seizures. Normlip binds to calcium channels on the nerves and may modify the release of neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin acts as a neuro protective, promotes myelination by promoting the synthesis of lecithin. 

 

 

INDICATIONS:

Diabetic neuropathy,
Fibromyalgia and
posttherpetic neuralgia.

Diclofenac belongs to a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by reducing the production of prostaglandins, chemicals that cause pain, fever and inflammation. NSAIDs block the enzyme that makes prostaglandins (cyclooxygenase), resulting in lower production of prostaglandins. As a consequence, inflammation, pain and fever are reduced. Serratiopeptidase reduces inflammation by thinning the fluids formed from injury,thus facilitating the fluid 's removal from the site. It also alleviates pain by inhibiting the release of pain inducing amines called bradykinin.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

• Inflammation and pain caused by conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Also effective in treating soft tissue inflammation that causes tendinitis and bursitis and for treating dysmenorrhea(menstrual cramps).

It has analgesic and antipyretic action.It is used to relieve pain and stiffness caused by muscle strains and sprains. It is used in combination with physical therapy, analgesics (such as aspirin or acetaminophen), and rest. and also useful for lowering a raised temperature.

Paracetamol is used to treat mild to moderate pain (from headaches, menstrual periods, toothaches, backaches, osteoarthritis, or cold/flu aches and pains) and to reduce fever. Serratiopeptidase is proteolytic enzyme that has potent anti-inflammatory property.

LIPSPAS-M

It is an anti spasmodic drug. A substance in the body called cyclo-oxygenase is involved in the production of various chemicals in the body, including prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are produced in response to injury and certain diseases and conditions, and cause pain, swelling and inflammation.

Mefenamic acid works by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase and so stops the production of these irritant chemicals. This results in less pain, swelling and inflammation.

 

INDICATIONS:

 

• It is prescribed for patients with renal colic as a muscle relaxant as well as for pregnant women to accelerate labour.

• It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain after operations and in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

• It can also be used to treat period pain associated with heavy menstrual bleeding in women.
